Day 1: Arrival in Semporna & Leisure
Your peaceful Mataking Island retreat begins the moment you land at Tawau Airport. Our driver will greet you and handle the scenic 1.5-hour land transfer to the charming coastal town of Semporna. After checking into your comfortable accommodation at Wing Tat Hotel from 2:00 PM onwards, the rest of the day is yours to unwind. We recommend taking a leisurely stroll along the vibrant waterfront, breathing in the fresh sea breeze, and discovering local cafes or seafood restaurants. It’s the perfect, relaxed prelude to your private island escape.

Day 2: Check in Mataking Resort & Leisure
Today, you leave the town behind for the secluded paradise of Mataking Island. The scenic journey brings you to this beautiful private island resort, where you’ll be greeted by stunning views of pristine beaches and crystal-clear water. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch before checking into your comfortable room at 2:00 PM. The rest of the day is yours to explore the island at your own pace – unwind on the powdery white beach, take a leisurely stroll through the resort, and soak in the beautiful, tranquil scenery. The day concludes with a wonderful dinner at the resort.
