On day two, immerse yourself in the azure waters and vibrant coral reefs of Mataking, Pom Pom, and Timba-Timba islands. On day three, challenge yourself with a hike to the summit of Bohey Dulang Island for breathtaking panoramic views, followed by more snorkeling adventures at Mantabuan and Sibuan islands. Day one is for arrival and day four for departure, ensuring a well-paced itinerary. Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Semporna
Your in depth Semporna exploration begins the moment you land at Tawau Airport. Our driver will greet you and handle the scenic 1.5 hour land transfer to the charming coastal town of Semporna, where the relaxed pace of island life immediately sets in. After checking into your comfortable accommodation at Wing Tat Hotel from 2:00 PM onwards, the rest of the day is yours to unwind. We recommend taking a leisurely stroll along the vibrant waterfront, breathing in the fresh sea breeze, and discovering local cafes or seafood restaurants. It’s the perfect, pressure-free start to your 4 day adventure.

Day 2: Island Hopping (Mataking + Pom Pom + Timba-Timba) & Leisure
Today, you dive into the quintessential Semporna experience! After an early breakfast at the hotel, you’ll head to the jetty for your first full day island hopping expedition. Your adventure takes you to three iconic islands. First, dip into the crystal clear waters around the pristine sandbar of Timba-Timba Island for your first snorkeling session among vibrant marine life. After refueling with a provided lunch box on the boat, you’ll continue to the beautiful Mataking Island to explore its colorful coral gardens. On the relaxing return journey, the boat will make a stop at postcard perfect Pom Pom Island, where you can choose to relax on its powdery white beaches or take one last refreshing swim. You’ll arrive back at your hotel in the late afternoon, with the evening free to relax and anticipate the next day’s unique adventure.

Day 3: Island Hopping (Bohey Dulang + Mantabuan + Sibuan) & Leisure
Today offers a perfect blend of adventure and discovery. After breakfast, you’ll set off for a different island route, starting with the majestic Bohey Dulang Island. Upon arrival, challenge yourself with approximately a 1-hour hike to the summit (remember your sports shoes!). Your effort will be rewarded with breathtaking, panoramic views of the turquoise lagoon and surrounding islands – a true photographer’s dream. After descending and enjoying lunch at the Bohey Dulang jetty, the adventure continues on the water. You’ll visit Mantabuan Island for more fantastic snorkeling, followed by a stop at the stunning Sibuan Island, known for its long sandbar and clear waters. You’ll return to your hotel in the evening, your heart full of awe from the day’s incredible sights.

Day 4: Departure

After checking out by 12:00 PM, our driver will be ready to transfer you comfortably from your hotel back to Tawau Airport for your departure, marking the end of a memorable 4-day island hopping adventure.

- Bohey Dulang Island Guidelines:
- Footwear Rule: As per Tun Sakaran Marine Park rules, sports shoes must be worn for the hike.
- Child Restriction: The viewpoint is not accessible to children under 6 years old. This restriction also applies to young children in slings or carriers.
- All land and boat transfers within this package are provided on a shared basis.
